What facade cleaning covers

We remove algae, moss and grime from the wall. The service suits rendered and painted surfaces, timber cladding and fibre-cement panels.

Pressure and nozzle are chosen to suit the wall material, not the other way round. Old render and worn paint get low pressure. If a surface cannot take pressure washing, we say so before the work starts, not after.

How the work is done

A drone does the washing. The crew stays on the ground and no ladder is put against the wall. No scaffolding or lift is needed, which means there is no scaffolding cost and nothing heavy is brought onto your planting.

Before the work we look the property over: the condition of the wall, its height and what surrounds it. We hold an official authorisation to fly over houses and the work is insured. For housing associations and commercial clients we supply a copy of the authorisation, proof of liability insurance and a site-specific risk assessment.

What facade cleaning does not cover

We do not repair facades. Cracked render, flaking paint, failed insulation and broken cladding boards need a building contractor. If we see something like that while cleaning, we tell you, but we do not fix it ourselves.

Cleaning also does not include painting or rendering the wall, sealing joints, or cleaning window frames and sills separately. Window cleaning can be booked together with a facade clean on the same visit.

How long the work takes

We give the duration in your quote, for your property specifically. We publish no general figure: it depends on the property, and we have no measurements of our own to base one on yet.
